At a glance

  • Use Plryer only for work you are authorised to do for your club.
  • You keep your content. Your club controls its shared workspace.
  • Plans and charts support coaching judgement; they do not replace it.
  • You can connect AI apps such as Claude or ChatGPT. They act as you, so you are responsible for what they do.

This summary is a guide. Read the full document below.

01

About these terms

These terms cover Plryer’s website and player-development service at plryer.dev. The service is operated by Jose Fernandez, operating Plryer in the United Arab Emirates. Contact: legal@plryer.dev.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. A separately signed club agreement may supplement or override these terms where it expressly says so.

02

Accounts and club authority

Provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and use your own account. You must have legal capacity to enter an agreement and authority to act for any club you represent. You must be at least 18 years old to create or operate an account.

Club administrators decide who joins the workspace and which users have administrative access. Only invite people who should see the club’s shared information. Tell the operator promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

A player profile is a club record, not an account for that player. Creating a player profile does not give that person access to the app or confirm their consent.

03

What Plryer provides

Plryer helps coaches organise game models, development plans, targets, training, measurements and coaching history. Features and plan limits are described in the app. Sample workspaces and illustrative stories contain fictional data and are not evidence of real player outcomes.

You remain responsible for checking input data, interpreting results and making coaching decisions. Plryer is not a medical service and does not diagnose injuries, prescribe treatment or guarantee sporting outcomes. Seek appropriately qualified advice where needed.

Plryer also offers a connector that lets AI apps you choose, such as Claude or ChatGPT, work in Plryer for you (see Connected AI apps). It is a convenience. Whether it works depends on the app, its plan and its provider’s rules, which Plryer does not control, and what an AI app says or records is not advice from Plryer.

04

Your content and player information

You and the relevant rights holders retain ownership of information and files you submit. You give the operator the limited permission needed to host, store, process and display that content to provide and maintain the service for your club. This does not transfer ownership of your content to Plryer.

You must have the rights and lawful authority to upload, use and share content, including photographs, documents and information about other people. Clubs are responsible for the notices, legal bases and any consents required for their player and staff records, particularly junior-player and health information.

The Privacy Policy explains the handling of information. It does not replace a club’s own privacy responsibilities or any data-processing agreement required between the club and the operator.

05

Acceptable use

Do not use Plryer to upload unlawful or infringing content, harass or exploit people, share credentials, impersonate others, distribute malware, bypass access controls, obtain another club’s information without permission, or disrupt the service.

Only store information needed for the authorised work of your club. Do not upload payment-card numbers, government identity documents or other unnecessary sensitive records. Do not use the service for emergency or safety-critical decisions.

These rules apply equally to anything done through an AI app you have connected.

The operator may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security risk or a legal requirement. Where practical and lawful, the operator should explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve it.

06

Shared workspaces and exports

Club administrators can access all of their club’s records. Coaches access player and related development records for their assigned teams; shared club resources remain visible to members. Department labels and on-screen filters do not add confidentiality boundaries beyond those access rules. Uploaded files may be accessible to anyone holding a valid signed link. Keep links and exported reports within the group authorised to receive them.

Your club can remove your access while retaining the work you contributed. Downloaded or forwarded copies are controlled by whoever holds them, and access removal cannot recall those copies. Keep appropriate copies of records your club needs, using the export tools where available.

07

Connected AI apps

You may connect an AI app to your own account through Plryer’s connector. By connecting it you instruct the operator to give the app the information you can see and to carry out the requests it makes as you. The app acts with your access and no more, and what it does through the connection is treated as done by you. You are responsible for it, including what it reads, records and shares onward. Only connect apps you trust, and check what an app has recorded.

Connect an app only if you are allowed to expose the information it can see to that app and its provider. This can include junior-player and health information, so use an app only where your club permits it and the provider’s terms suit that information. The operator is not a party to your arrangement with an AI provider and is not responsible for how the provider handles what it receives, for its output, or for changes to or the end of its service. The Privacy Policy describes what is shared.

Do not use a connected app to get around access limits or request limits, to copy records in bulk beyond what you are entitled to, to share your connection with someone else, or to make the app act beyond your own access.

You can disconnect an app at any time under Account settings, then Connected apps, and should also remove Plryer in the app. The operator may disconnect an app or restrict the connector where reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security risk or a legal requirement, or because an AI provider changes or withdraws support. Where practical and lawful, the operator should explain the reason.

08

Plans, payment and cancellation

Coach and Club are paid subscriptions billed through Paddle, our merchant of record. Coach includes a 14-day free trial; a payment method is required to start it, and billing begins automatically once the trial ends unless you cancel first. Club has no trial. Custom plans require an agreed offer and are not sold through self-serve checkout. Browsing prices or selecting a roster size does not by itself start a subscription or authorise a charge — checkout must show the price, currency, billing interval, applicable taxes and renewal terms before any payment is taken, and any annual discount applies only as shown there.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the interval confirmed at checkout unless cancelled. Use the billing portal to manage payment details or cancel a subscription. Subscriptions do not include refunds, including for partial billing periods or unused time; cancelling stops future renewal but does not refund the current period, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Deleting a club queues cancellation of its subscriptions and file cleanup. Provider failures can delay that process, so confirm cancellation in billing before deletion. Deleting your account does not cancel subscriptions for clubs that remain active.

09

Leaving and deleting an account

You can stop using the service and use Account settings to delete your account. A sole club administrator may need to appoint another administrator first. Clubs still used by other members and their shared records remain; a club with no other members is deleted with its last member’s account.

Archiving is not deletion. Uploaded files, backups and copies can require separate handling, as described in the retention section of the Privacy Policy. Arrange any needed exports and billing cancellation before deleting an account or club.

10

Availability and third-party services

The service may change or be interrupted for maintenance, faults or matters outside the operator’s control. Unless separately agreed, no particular uptime level, feature roadmap or performance result is guaranteed. The operator should give reasonable notice of material service changes where practical.

External links, linked media, authentication, hosting and payment services, and the AI apps you connect, may be subject to their providers’ terms. Plryer does not control third-party content or the copies you choose to share outside the service.

11

Responsibility and legal rights

You are responsible for your use of the service and the accuracy and lawfulness of your club’s content. The operator remains responsible for obligations that applicable law places on it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Any additional warranty exclusions, liability limits, governing law and dispute venue must be reviewed for the operator’s country and customer markets as the service develops. These terms do not impose a monetary liability cap, mandatory arbitration or a waiver of statutory rights.

12

Changes and questions

The revision date appears at the top of this page. Material changes should be notified before they take effect where required by law or an existing agreement. A future change does not remove mandatory rights or retrospectively authorise new uses of personal information.

For questions about these terms or a dispute concerning the service, contact legal@plryer.dev so the operator can review the issue.
